About me
Psychologist in London and online
We are often taught to view mental health in isolation - as if our thoughts exist in a vacuum separate from our bodies, our environments, and our physical actions.
I operate from a different premise:
moving through the external world expands your internal one
Changing countries, adapting your body through sport, or facing major life transitions aren't separate events. They are all part of the same fundamental human impulse to explore, adapt, and grow.
Therapy shouldn't feel like sitting in a rigid box being told how to live. It is an active, collaborative roadmap designed to help you break through automatic patterns, build resilience, and step into an ever-evolving, more flexible, identity.
“You aren’t lost; you’re taking a new shape.”
I didn’t build PsicoInMotion solely from textbooks and clinical training. It grew out of my own lived experience of stepping into the unknown.
Moving from Italy to the UK taught me firsthand what it means to rebuild your identity in a new language, navigate cultural disorientation, and fight to find a place where you truly belong.
At the same time, my journey into physical training showed me that our physical blocks are rarely just about muscles. They are almost always tied to our minds: how we handle failure, the pressure of our ego, and our struggle to rest.
I realised that living abroad, facing life transitions, training your body, and navigating mental health all require the exact same thing: the courage to move through discomfort.
As a Chartered Psychologist, I don't sit across from you as an untouchable expert with all the answers. I sit across from you as a fellow explorer who understands the terrain - here to offer direct, compassionate, and practical guidance as you navigate your own journey.
My dynamic approach to mental health support is shaped by continuous professional development and diverse experience across clinical, health, and sports psychology settings. I bring an authentic, "un-perfect authority" to our sessions, stripping away clinical jargon to offer warm, direct, and actionable guidance.
Every intervention is tailored to your unique rhythm, drawing from evidence-based psychological frameworks:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): To identify, challenge, and reframe limiting cognitive biases and automatic mental loops.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): To foster psychological flexibility and align your daily actions with your core values.
EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing): A powerful, body-brain evidence-based approach to process lingering trauma, performance anxiety, and distressing emotional triggers.
Schema Therapy: To uncover, understand, and rewrite deep-seated emotional patterns rooted in childhood or past experiences that keep you feeling stuck.
Somatic & Movement Psychology: Using physical movement and body awareness as powerful tools for emotional regulation and performance.
