Chartered Psychologist in London and online

Major life changes don't just shift your external reality - they rewrite your internal map. Stepping into the unknown can feel disorienting, but it is also where real self - discovery begins.

Busy city street in London with large white buildings, a red double-decker bus in motion, and pedestrians crossing the street.

Whether you are navigating a career shift, relocating to a new country, ending a relationship, entering parenthood, or simply wrestling with a quiet sense of "what's next?", life transitions have a way of pulling the rug from under your feet.

Even positive changes can bring unexpected anxiety, grief, loss of identity, and self-doubt. When your old routines and roles no longer fit, it is easy to feel unanchored.

As a Chartered Psychologist based in London, I help high-performing professionals, expats, and individuals navigate major life pivots. Together, we transform periods of uncertainty into opportunities to gain mental clarity, break out of unhelpful loops, and realign your life with your authentic values.

Why I Focus on Life Transitions: The Explorer's Mindset

My passion for working with life transitions comes from a place of deep personal and professional experience.

My own life has been defined by constant evolution. A decade ago, I packed up my life and moved to London after living and studying across multiple cities in Italy. Along the way, I’ve navigated major relationship shifts, a chronic medical condition diagnosis, life changing events, and completely reshaped my identity through physical movement and sports.

I don't believe identity should ever be a fixed, rigid box. There is immense freedom in allowing yourself to continually evolve—in stepping into new chapters and embracing the discomfort of being a complete beginner.

In my practice, this philosophy aligns with the core brand theme of the Explorer:

"Life isn't a static destination; it’s an active exploration. You don't need to have every answer mapped out to take the next step. Therapy gives you the grounded compass to navigate change with curiosity rather than fear."

I specialise in life transitions because change is where our deepest emotional patterns surface. By combining evidence-based psychology (CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy) with somatic awareness, I help you process the grief of what you’re leaving behind, regulate the stress of uncertainty, and design a path forward that aligns with who you are today.

Addressing Hesitations & Myths

When you’re standing at a crossroads, internal resistance often sounds like these specific fears:

1. "What if I make the wrong decision and regret it?"

The Truth: Paralysis by analysis usually stems from trying to eliminate all risk before taking a step. In therapy, we build your tolerance for uncertainty and clarify your core values so you can make decisions grounded in authentic direction rather than fear.

2. "I’ve invested so much time into this path—changing now feels like failure."

The Truth: Pivoting isn't throwing away your past; it's integrating what you've learned into your next phase. Outgrowing a former version of yourself, a career, or a relationship is a natural sign of growth, not defeat.

3. "I feel completely disconnected from who I used to be."

The Truth: When major roles change, it's normal to experience a temporary loss of identity. Therapy gives you a grounded space to unpack that grief and actively rebuild an identity that feels genuine and self-sustaining.

Change looks different for everyone. I provide targeted psychological support for:

  • Relocation & Expat Adjustment: Overcoming culture shock, isolation, identity shifts, and the psychological weight of building a life in a new country.

  • Relationship & Life Stage Shifts: Navigating breakups, divorce, structural relationship changes, or stepping into new life stages.

  • Career Changes & Executive Pivots: Managing burnout, imposter syndrome, career crossroads, or stepping into leadership.

  • Identity & Personal Redefinition: Re-evaluating your life path when former identities no longer feel authentic.

  • Lifestyle & Movement Transitions: Rebuilding your relationship with your body, recovering from injury, or using sport to redefine yourself.
